I have prosecuted and defended. I have done both trial and appellate work in federal and state courts. I think that the best thing I can do for my clients is to be constantly abreast of the changes in the law and to be aggressive in representing the citizen accused. I do not believe in talking about pleading unless all options have been investigated and the offer is too good to pass up. No one should ever plead guilty to something they did not do. No one should ever plead guilty unless firmly convinced that it is the best of all possible options and even then you should always think twice about giving up you right to be tried by a jury.
